French Sweets in the Tafelzier
Since I can not always be in France, I was very happy when I learned through a friend that there is the Patisserie Tafelzier in the middle of downtown Nuremberg, which provides us with French specialties.
When you enter the café, you are greeted by the sweet smell of little tarts, eclairs, chocolates and other sweets. My personal favorite are the macarons, which come in bright colors and varieties from fruity to chocolaty, so that everyone can find something they like. In addition to the standard varieties, there are different macarons depending on the season and a highlight is always the macaron of the month for which it is worth coming back. You can enjoy your treats together with a coffee speciality directly on site.
I particularly like the fact that they use regional and seasonal ingredients and still remain true to French craftsmanship. They also try very hard to keep the offer always fresh and creative.
If you're even more interested, you can take a macaron workshop at Tafelzier and learn how to successfully bake the more elaborate pastries at home.
My friends and I always start our meetups with a small treat at Tafelzier and then walk through Nuremberg strengthend
